ECHO has not yet received governmental funding. Currently, the ongoing research activities are carried out by voluntary work of the consortium members. Some financial support has kindly been provided by the following national support groups:

• German Patient Association for Histiocytosis (HistiozytoseHilfe e.V. - HHeV)
• French Patient Association for Histiocytosis (Association Histiocytose France - A.H.F.)
• HistioUK has provided research grants for two scientific ECHO projects (HistioUK)

We would kindly like to ask for donations which are crucial towards continuing and sustaining our research projects. These efforts are aimed at finding a ultimate rational cure, and temporarily, optimal treatment guidelines, for all patients with Histiocytosis.
